This is slightly unconventional but very romantic marriage proposal location idea for the winter lovers. If you are planning a trip to Lithuania in winter I definitely recommend you visiting the Baltic seaside – it’s famous for it’s pine tree forests, pristine wild beaches and sand dunes. In my opinion winter in the seaside is even more magical than in Summer as it is very quiet and not many people are visiting the region in winter makes it perfect for romantic and private proposal in wild nature.
With so much character and space, it has something for everyone — from Palanga Pier to long tranquil sandy beaches that leads to Birutes hill.
Take a short car ride and visit Dutchman’s Cap (otherwise known as Olando Kepure) it is a hill with a 24.4 m high bluff with spectacular views of wild beaches. It was created 12000–15000 years ago during the last Baltic glaciation. The area is called Karklė.
The cost of the Baltic Sea in Lithuania has plenty of things to offer, from golden sandy dunes to small fisherman’s towns, an incredibly unique Curonian Spit with Neringa and Nida towns.
