It’s only 10 weeks to go to Goldsmiths’ Fair (October 2-7 for week 2) and it is really freaking me out already! I am working hard, day and night (not really nights – I like to sleep more than anything!), designing and making new collection to be ready for launch at the show!
I don’t want to have a massive collection and overcrowd my stand, so I am really concentrating on creating quality vs quantity. Spending a lot of time researching and planning, designing each piece carefully, before moving on to the bench and actually making it, one by one. In my newest collection I want each piece to have a meaning, a narrative and be inspired to one sea creature or another.
I want to share with you mood board of upcoming collection and inspiration behind it! A small hint – pay attention to colours, creatures and textures!
