How Macro Photography Inspires my Jewellery?

In the depths of winter, I learned again, that there is so much beauty in stillness of dead flowers, dried leaves and the silhouettes of naked twigs with their buds being dormant and waiting patiently for spring. This beauty is sometimes goes understated.

Keen to get up close and among plants and shrubs I head out into the wet and wander around in the wild fields and parks to take close up macro photographs.

When I look up close to the nature I feel more connected with nature. It feels like time stops, as though there is just an endless ‘here and now’. It makes me to be more content with life and have a mindful approach to living and creating my jewellery.

I look out for small things, unusual textures and soft colour pallets. I touch and inhale the surroundings and the inspiration flows.
