Ama Dablam | Rose Cut Diamond Rotating Gold Ring
This ring is an abstract interpretation of the Ama Dablam peak – it is one of the most beautiful peaks in the Himalaya. To reach its base camp trekkers have to walk long and steep way from Dingboche village. The Ama Dablam peak hides behind smaller mountains and only reveals itself minutes before approaching the base camp.
Textural side of the ring is inspired by mountain cairn leading to the mountain. Cairn is a human-made pile of stones, in the mountains they are used as trail markers in many parts of the world and helps to find a path. The other side rotates to reveal a diamond that symoblizes Ama Dablam pointy peak. I wanted this ring to be like an amulet that protects its holder and helps them to find a right way to their ‘mountain peaks’.
This ring is one-of-a-kind.
