Dovilė Bertulytė

Dovilė Bertulytė ("we", "us") is a jewellery studio based in Wiltshire, UK. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use this website, why, and what rights you have over it.

What we collect, and why

We only collect what we need to run the studio and fulfil orders:

  • Contact and bespoke enquiries — your name, email address and message, so we can reply to you.
  • Orders — your name, email address and delivery address, so we can fulfil and ship your order and deal with any query about it. Card details are never seen or stored by us — payment is handled directly by Stripe, our payment processor (see below).
  • Newsletter sign-ups — your email address, only if you choose to subscribe, so we can send you studio updates. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email.

We don't require an account to buy from us, and we don't collect any personal data beyond what's listed above.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies, and it doesn't build a profile of your browsing. Traffic analytics (via Cloudflare Web Analytics) are cookie-less and aggregate only — they don't identify you individually, which is also why you won't see a cookie consent banner here.

Our contact and newsletter forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to filter spam; like our analytics, it's designed not to track you across sites.

Who we share data with

We use a small number of trusted service providers to run the studio, each acting only on our instructions:

  • Stripe — processes payments. We never see or store your full card details.
  • Resend — sends order confirmations and replies to enquiries on our behalf, and manages our newsletter list for those who opt in.
  • Cloudflare — hosts the site and provides the cookie-less analytics and spam protection described above.

We never sell your data, and we don't share it with anyone else for marketing purposes.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as we're required to for accounting and tax purposes. Enquiry messages are kept only as long as needed to resolve your query. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to ask us what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted, and to object to how we use it. To exercise any of these, get in touch — we'll respond promptly. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you believe your data hasn't been handled properly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time as the studio or the tools we use change. Check back here if you want the latest version.

Questions about your data? Contact us and we'll be glad to help.
