Over the lockdown months we were walking a lot and exploring our local surroundings here in Surrey. It was a perfect excuse for me to take my camera and try to capture some of the gorgeous wintery scenery.
I find a lot of inspiration in unspoiled nature like dried skeleton leaves and wilted flowers. Unusual weeds and grass creating almost a woven texture of muted tones. It looks so dreamy when covered in frost and little frozen droplets creating miniature like landscapes shimmer like tiny diamonds under early morning sunshine. They look so fragile and reminds me that everything is temporary.
After gathering so much inspiration I can’t wait to go back to workshop and make your beautiful commissions inspired by nature!
