It is a collaboration project with fashion designer Tereza Kladushova. We met in Jerusalem, during our exchange studies in Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design (2012). We found this city very extraordinary because of its culture, religion, history and people. So it inspired us to join forces and to collaborate on a mutual concept about women in judaism. We analyzed their very strict dress code, duties and responsibilities. Some body parts like chest, neck, arm till elbows, legs till knees and hair must be hidden at all time and their clothing has to show modesty. The research leaded us to understanding that beneath woman’s clothing and religion she is still a woman. This collection contains three pieces of jewellery (designed and made by me) and three out fits (designed by Tereza). Red strings twists around the body, like veins they symbolize viability by highlighting those places that must be hidden. At some point they emerge from the clothing and sometimes they stay beneath creating the texture of veins.
